Curriculum vitae

He was born in 1971 in Valtice. After graduating from the Gymnázium Kroměříž in 1989, he continued his studies at the Military Academy in Brno, specializing in Command Automation and Electronic Computers. He graduated in 1994 with honors and received the Rector’s Award for outstanding achievements during his studies and final exams. He successfully completed his doctoral studies in 1998 at the same academy in the field of Military Electronics, Informatics, and Cybernetics.

After completing his engineering degree in 1994, he began working at the Faculty of Air Force and Air Defense at the Department of Special Communication Systems as an assistant lecturer. A year later, he moved to the Department of Technical Cybernetics and Military Robotics, where he became deputy head of the department in 2000. In 2004, he was appointed associate professor in the field of Military Electrotechnical Technology and served as the head of the group at the Department of Air Defense Systems. In 2012, he was appointed head of this department, a position he held until 2019. In 2015, he was named professor. From 2015 to 2019, he served as Vice-Rector for Scientific and Expert Activities at the University of Defense. Since 2020, he has been a full professor at the Department of Informatics and Cyber Operations at the Faculty of Military Technology, University of Defense.

Throughout his scientific and academic career, he has focused on the fields of cybernetics, mechatronics, and applied informatics. His work is dedicated to the application of modern technologies in the fields of cybernetics and informatics.
