Lifelong learning
Faculties and other units of the University of Defence hold lifelong learning programmes within its educational and professional activities laid out in accordance with University’s Lifelong Learning Code.
These study programmes take the form of in-site, distance or combined mode of study. According to the UoD criteria, these are especially career, specialized or special-purpose courses, professional workshops, lectures, lecture cycles or seminars.
The lifelong learning programmes and their types/modes are announced by the Dean/Director of the appropriate faculty/institute/centre.
Information about the lifelong learning study programmes are made public in advance so that they might get acquainted with. The lifelong learning participants are not considered students as defined in the paragraph 3, chapter 60 of the Higher Education Act no. 111/1998. The conditions of completion are defined in the appropriate lifelong learning programme. The graduates receive Certificates of Studies within the lifelong study programme.
